Help raise the roof on
JM in the AM's House of Tomorrow
A special appeal to JM in the AM's most dedicated listeners...
One year ago, WFMU and JM in the AM were on the brink of eviction following the banruptcy of our
former owner, Upsala College. Without a penny in the bank dedicated to rent or housing, we started the
House of Tomorrow fund to protect the station in a time of crisis. A year later, we've raised over
$100,000 to go towards the $400,000 down payment on a building in Jersey City. We're renewing the
House of Tomorrow campaign for another year in an effort to reduce WFMU's debt load when we purchase
our new home in April.
A regular donation to JM in the AM helps us pay for the day to day expenses of staying on the air. But
a House of Tomorrow donation is a gift that will stay with WFMU forever. All the fund's money will go
into the down-payment on our great new home near Exchange Place in Jersey City. This means that 100%
of a House of Tomorrow donation goes into an investment that will grow, and stay with the station forever. We're
currently under contract to buy a building, with a closing scheduled for mid-April and a move
scheduled for the Fall. We're seeking 400 of our most committed listeners to pledge $25 a month for
one year, and help put the possibility of eviction behind WFMU forever.
