One year ago, WFMU was on the brink of eviction, without a penny in the bank dedicated to rent or housing. We started the House of Tomorrow fund to protect the station in a time of crisis, and one year later, we've raised over $100,000 to go towards the $400,000 down payment on a building in Jersey City. We've renewed the House of Tomorrow campaign for another year in an effort to reduce WFMU's debt load when we purchase our new home in April.

A regular donation to WFMU helps the station pay for the day to day expenses of staying on the air. But a House of Tomorrow donation will stay with WFMU forever. All the fund's money will go into the down-payment on our great new home near Exchange Place in Jersey City. This means that 100% of a House donation goes into an investment that will grow, and stay with the station forever. We're currently under contract to buy a building, with a closing scheduled for mid-April and a move scheduled for the Fall. We're seeking 400 of our most committed listeners to pledge $25 a month for one year, and help put the possibility of eviction behind WFMU forever.
