HELP BUILD WFMU'S HOUSE OF TOMORROW
A special plea to our most dependable listeners...
As part of our 1996 marathon, WFMU is establishing a fund to purchase
new
studios and offices. Because we're currently on the brink of eviction
with no money available for housing, we've taken the extreme measure of
including this appeal with every pre-marathon letter. If this request is
presumptuous, we apologize, but ask you still consider a donation to the
station via this website or the easily obtainable brochure.
But if you want to go the extra mile the help keep WFMU out of a
temporary storage facility, consider making a monthly donation to the
station. We're looking for 400 listeners to pledge $25 a month for one
year to help WFMU move its studios and offices to new quarters in
Jersey
City or Hoboken. We're researching several location, but we can't commit
until we have enough money for the down payment and renovation costs. We
will earmark 100% of your pledge to our house fund, giving WFMU the
security to move into a facility where it can thrive for decades.
